Users can also duplicate existing plans to create multiple variations, allowing for scenario-based forecasting and comparison.The visual includes robust status management capabilities, allowing users to track and update the lifecycle of plans and versions. Fully supported in Power BI Service, PlanIn BI Versioning does not function on Power BI Desktop. This visual requires additional purchases and specific licensing, along with the PlanIn BI - Data Refresh Service (available on AppSource) for real-time data updates. It also relies on a backend write-back web API (advised to be hosted on Azure Web Apps) to enable write-back functionality.
