PlanIn BI Table

PlanIn BI Table is an advanced Power BI custom visual designed to simplify the management of dimension and fact tables directly within the Power BI environment. Seamlessly integrated into planning and forecasting workflows, this visual empowers users to edit, insert, and delete records through an intuitive table interface, bringing full data management capabilities into Power BI reports. With PlanIn BI Table, users can modify existing records, add new entries, or remove outdated data effortlessly. The visual supports dropdown selections for specific fields during data entry or updates, ensuring data consistency and reducing manual input errors. Its highly interactive design streamlines master data management processes, allowing organizations to maintain accurate and up-to-date dimensions and facts without leaving Power BI. Fully supported in Power BI Service, this visual does not function on Power BI Desktop. The PlanIn BI Table visual requires an additional Power BI visual, PlanIn BI - Data Refresh Service (available on AppSource), to enable real-time data refresh capabilities. A backend write-back web API (advised to be hosted on Azure Web Apps) is also required to enable write-back functionality.
