Do you have an email you need sed to GitHub? Do you have an email with additional detail on an existing issue in GitHub and want to add as a comment?

Did you get a file or an image you need to generate a new or append to an existing GitHub issue? If so, you need **Send to GitHub**.

Send to GitHub supports the following features:

Sends email messages (subject and body) and creates a new issue on the selected repo.

Pin the taskpane so you can quickly move through your inbox.

Supports dark and light modes.

Have a lot of repos, select only the repos you want to see in the add-in. ¹

💎 Track which email you sent to which issue so as new details come in, you can send the updated response to the same issue. ²

💎 Trim the response to only the most recent reply. ²

💎 Customize the title using rules from email fields (recipients, subject, body, etc.), with additional RegEx support. ²

💎 AI? We go that! Take an email and let AI determine the best language for converting it into a user story or a bug. ²

💎 Assign or change the assignees on an issue. ²

💎 Add or update the labels on an issue. ²

💎 Select a milestone. ²

💎 Select which attachments to send to the issue ²^,3
- Upload attachments and get a markdown list of files. ²
- Upload images and get them inline at the end of the added text. ²

💎 Select from open and closed issues for adding comments. ²

💎 Hold a specific issue in place and submit multiple emails quickly. ²

💎 Need to remember where the issue came from? Prepend the email header to the issues. ²

💎 Need a personal link back to your email item? Add a link back to Outlook. ²
