XContent E-Kard_1wk installation

Cost optimisation is at the forefront of any business leader’s mind. They will look at ways to reduce spend in just about anything but for some reason, the simplest things can be overlooked. Instead of relying on the old way of doing things, like printing business cards for all staff over and over again, adopt digital with 1 card, the e-Kard. The e-Kard is a single NFC enabled card, the size of a credit card, which will allow the holder to easily distribute their contact information.

The information is stored on a secure site housed on Azure, which integrates with Office 365 and Azure AD. This allows a company to select what information they would like to share (as you would with a

normal card) but do so without the additional printing costs. The holder can then tap the e-Kard on an NFC enabled mobile phone and it will open up a webpage with the holder’s image and contact

details.

These can easily be stored on the tapped device by simply clicking the “add V-Card” toggle at the bottom of the screen. The webpage is interactive too in that you are able to click on specific information like the email address or the chat toggle, to email the contact or directly chat with the contact on Teams. If the device is not NFC enabled, there is the second option available which uses a personal QR

code per card holder. Simply scan the QR code. The scannable QR code, which can be printed onto the card or added to an email signature, will allow anyone with a smart phone to scan the QR code to perform the same functionality as before.

It will open the same webpage and allow the user to save the contact details to their device. So instead of spending on printing costs over and over again, consider the planet and use the e-kard.
