How do cities, regions and communities get insights and knowledge from their data that can be presented in real-time, transparently, in a way that is easy to understand and visually appealing?

The [ui!] COCKPIT makes complex data from a central data platform, such as [ui!] UrbanPulse, available to different types of users. In addition to public COCKPITS for general information of public interest, COCKPITS for management as a decision-making aid and COCKPITS with specialist applications for subject-specific benefits are also made available, depending on the data. The basic concept of tile-based data visualisation is tightly integrated with the underlying map view. It allows users to gain deeper insights into the data situation using diagrams and other visualisation techniques in flexible tiles. The tiles are related to the map, whose section dynamically adapts to the selected data and tiles. The user has full control over the display and can explore the data either via the map or the tiles. The layout of the [ui!] COCKPIT is very flexible and does not stick to a fixed view of tiles or map layers. Both components can be used without the other. Furthermore, it is also possible to create a completely customised layout and use context-specific visualisations.
