The Shout-out app in Microsoft Teams helps users show appreciation to members of their organization or classroom. With a selection of badge sets to choose from and the option to create your own badges, this app is designed to help recognize the effort that goes into the wide range of work that Teams users do, from educators to Frontline Workers.

Shout-out App Features

Use default or create custom applaud cards- The employee will be able to select applaud card from the list of available applaud cards and award to one another, whereas only Team owners/admin will be able to create new applaud cards.

Alerts and notifications- When applause is given, recipients and other team members are notified about the applaud details in the one-on-one, group chat scope, and channel scope by tagging them.

Individual dashboards- Both the employee and admin can see their respective dashboard like how many types of applaud card was given/received along with searching options like Date Range, Awarded From, Awarded To, Award.

Edit value and behaviors- Admin can view the list of values/behaviors and can edit/keep it active/inactive as required.

Messaging Extension- Applaud your colleagues directly via messaging extensions in one-on-one/group/channel chat.
