In May 2021, we began working with a world renowned Football governing body. They initially wanted to formally digitise their health and safety reporting process for one of their major sites, then branched out to other major sites.

As a large organisation with lots of activity going on, there are a lot of incidents and things that need to be reported. Previously, this association had replied on a paper-based process, but since discovering that the Microsoft Power Platform was part of their licensing, they wanted to create a solution with these tools and make everything smoother and more organised.

After initial conversations with the association to establish what was needed and where the issues lay, we analysed the problem, investigated what needed to be included in different phases of building the app and from this, built a development schedule.

Looking at the association's license and structure, we were able to bring in the Power Platform, and the majority of what they needed was already there, it just needed to be tapped into to find the best solution for them.

The Power Platform was used as the foundation to build out the services, and we built out a strategy, modules and pillars in the service matrix within it in order to prepare the app. The app will make it easier for all health and safety related reports to be organised and found in one easily accessible place.
