JusticeNexus is a legal case management system on the Power Platform hosted in the Azure GCC.
JusticeNexus is a legal case management solution built on the Microsoft Power Platform and offered as a Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) in the Microsoft Azure Government Community Cloud (GCC). JusticeNexus provides public sector legal entities with a single, secure, centralized, cloud-based system to:
- Intake new cases, matters and investigations,
- Assign and manage cases, investigations, matters and activities,
- Interact with attorneys, investigators, victim and witness specialists, administrative staff and the public, and
- Provide actionable and detailed reporting, regardless of bureau, intake type or method – all while ensuring case-specific data is kept secure.
JusticeNexus relies on role-based security; therefore, even though all case data is housed in one centralized location, only those with proper permissions have access to specific case data. Automated workflows ensure that consistent, best practices are adhered to, and documentation is uniform and standardized. Leveraging automation, cases quickly move through legal processes, ensuring uniformity while meeting regulatory requirements and increasing efficiency by automatically triggering actions, changes, notifications, tasks or scheduling based on client-defined sets of criteria.
JusticeNexus provides role-specific user dashboards that are displayed upon log-in, allowing users to access real-time system data related to their daily task list. Dashboards can be customized by properly permissioned users, and authorized users can drill through and into dashboards to access underlying records and perform activities. From an oversight standpoint, data can be anonymized and aggregated to provide high-level reporting to stakeholders. Any data captured within JusticeNexus is available for querying, filtering, sorting, grouping, reporting or exporting.
Our proposed solution is completely web-based and operating system/browser-agnostic. It includes native mobile apps for Android, iOS, and Windows smartphones and tablets, allowing access from virtually any device from anywhere in the world, 24/7/365. The solution includes a portal to allow the public and other unlicensed users access to specific case data, including a knowledge base. This portal can be customized to service specific external audiences, meeting the branding guidelines and functional requirements of each client.
