b. line
by b. line
Check the formatting of legal citations, right from your Word documents.
b. line reviews Word documents for legal citations and suggests styling modifications consistent with U.S. legal citation conventions. Through corresponding clickable buttons, b. line can be prompted to scan the body text, footnotes, and/or endnotes of your document. No document upload required. No artificial intelligence processing involved. Free to try.
b. line Limitations:
b. line does not make suggestions for italicizing or underlying when either method is generally accepted (e.g. case names).
b. line is unable to make large and small caps suggestions (e.g. law review names).
Operating Notes:
b. line's task pane opens from the References Tab of the Word Ribbon. Not seeing it? You may need to navigate to the Get Add-ins (download b. line from AppSource Store) or My Add-ins (manage Add-ins already downloaded) buttons on the Insert tab of the main Word Ribbon.
b. line's suggested track changes edits will carry the name of the Author of the document unless you change the document Author to 'b. line'. Suggested edits reflected in the corresponding screenshots were made while the Author was set as 'b. line'.
Internet access is required to run b. line, as with other Add-Ins.
