Send to Planner

Do you have an email you need to include on your Plans task boards for you or your team to take action on.

This add-in makes it easy, with a single click from the Outlook Ribbon. A task pane opens, (and after you have signed into Planner), you can select the Plan and the Bucket for your new Task click "Send to Planner" and it will create a new task on your Planner task board.

NOTE: This add-in supports pinning so you can quickly move through your inbox when creating tasks in Planner.

Send to Planner supports the following features:

Sends email messages (subject and body) to your Planner tasks.^*

Supports calendar appointments and meetings (subject and body and start/end time^**)

Allows you to keep a plan and bucket selected as default.

Includes all attachments and inline images.

Works with shared mailboxes.

Supports dark and light mode.

Even provides limited support for Personal plans^***.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Send to Planner does NOT work with Premium Plans. Premium Plans are a new feature added by Microsoft which use Microsoft Project. For more information please see the following article.

If you do not want or need premium features but would still like to use this add-in without delays and limits, you can purchase a BASIC subscription.

With a Basic subscription you can:

Remove all delays and subscription notifications.

There are no daily limits on how many emails you can send.

Hides premium features for you ^*.
