Access employee-features for a set of modules from within Microsoft Teams
Users of a paid shiawa account have the option to use some of the features provided in shiawa within Microsoft Teams. If you do not yet have a shiawa account, you can register for a free trial account on shiawa.com.
The features provided by the teams app are the ones available to users with the 'employee' role so that these users can fulfill their day-to-day tasks in Shiawa from their familiar Teams environment.
Agent and administrator features are not available within the Teams app. These users need to use the shiawa web app, which can be accessed via the browser. You will receive the link to this environment when you register on shiawa.com.
An overview of the most important functions of the Teams app:
These are available to all users, provided the corresponding module in their shiawa account is activated.
Flexdesk booking:
You can filter and book flex desks. You can see which colleagues have booked which workspace on the same day. If you have booked a place, you can also invite colleagues for the same day.
Tickets:
You can create tickets, view the tickets you have already created, and leave comments for user that is in charge of the task described in your ticket.
Inventory:
You can view the inventory assigned to you and add pictures, comments, as well as your signature to the inventory.
Messages:
You can view and archive messages you've received within shiawa.
Account:
If you have multiple shiawa accounts, you can switch between them under 'Account.' Within the Teams app, you cannot use multiple shiawa accounts simultaneously.
App capabilities
- Can send data over the Internet
- This app can access personal information on the active message, such as phone numbers, postal addresses, or URLs. The app may send this data to a third-party service. Other items in your mailbox can’t be read or modified.
