• Single sign-on: Authorize and create your Recital account using a Microsoft or Google account you already own. Your account is protected by the same multi-factor authentication (MFA) as your email.
• Privacy: Recital stores the minimum information needed. Extra data is deleted from our systems as soon as it is no longer needed. The information Recital stores is encrypted at all times.
• Data encryption: All servers and databases are encrypted (AES-256) at the storage level. Files and database columns storing sensitive data are additionally encrypted (AES-256) at the application layer.

Is there a cost to use the add-in?

Initially, the add-in is free. In the future, paid versions with enhanced features will be available and upgrading will be optional. The free version will remain accessible, with limited capabilities, after we introduce premium, paid plans.

Can I install the add-in via Word?

Yes, you can install the add-in directly from Word by following these steps:

1. Open a document in Word.
2. On the Insert tab, navigate to Add-ins and select Get Add-ins.
3. Search for Recital for Word in the Office Add-ins Store. Click Add and then click Continue.
4. Open a Word document and click the Open Recital button on the Home tab.
