Creates a connector for admins to let users access ownCloud right within Teams.
ownCloud is an open-source file sync, share and content collaboration server software that lets teams work on data easily from anywhere, on any device. This AppSource App is intended for admins that want to integrate Microsoft Teams and ownCloud more closely. It enables you to make your ownCloud instance available in Microsoft Teams as a tab, letting users access files and folders for easy and secure sharing within Microsoft Teams.
It enables you to:
- access ownCloud directly from within Microsoft Teams
- integrate ownCloud as a Microsoft Teams tab
- select documents and folders to share with your team
- create private links or public links for files and folders
- share files and folders with other users directly in Microsoft Teams
This app is strictly for use by administrators! Before you read further, please make sure your setup meets the following requirements:
- Azure AD is the Identity Provider
- ownCloud Server version is at least 10.7
- ownCloud OpenID Connect extension is at least 2.0
- ownCloud Bridge for Teams, our helper library, is installed
This App, once started, will guide you through a short configuration process that will result in a custom connector for your ownCloud instance that you can then integrate into your Microsoft Teams setup.
The extra step is needed to strengthen security by storing the URL of your ownCloud in a dedicated custom connector - facilitating compliance with even the most demanding corporate policies.
