DocLife

To use the DocLife Add-in, you must have purchased a license for the DocLife document management software.

The DocLife Add-in integrates DocLife with Office, allowing you to edit DocLife documents easily and seamlessly using the native Office apps on your PC.

Documents remain in DocLife, and with this Add-in, you can create new versions using Word or Excel.

To use the Add-in, simply follow these steps:

1. Open the document in DocLife.
2. In the edit menu, select "Edit with MS Office." DocLife will then open Word or Excel, depending on the type of document selected.
3. Edit the document as desired using Word or Excel (during this phase, the document in DocLife will be locked and cannot be modified by other users).
4. Once you have finished editing, click the "Send to DocLife" button in the Add-in to save a new temporary version of the document in DocLife.
5. Finally, in DocLife, click the "Confirm New Version" button for the document to consolidate a new version containing the changes made externally in Word or Excel.
