BI Pixie Starter Deployment

• The Visual Clicks Heatmap tracks visual interactions in each visual of your tracked Power BI reports. The heatmap shows the exact location of the visuals, their number of clicks and the selected dimensions that the users clicked on.
• BI Pixie can read information from your Power BI service and allow you to analyze report efficiency at the capacity and workspace level.
• The app visuals include hyperlinks to specific workspaces, reports or pages, allowing you to easily navigate from BI Pixie app to the actual reports that need improvements.
• In the Design Impact and Design Changes pages, you can analyze how different design aspects affect the levels of engagement.
• You can track usage in reports with live connections and analyze their aggregated effectiveness (engagement, adoption, user satisfaction) at the Semantic Model level.
  

• BI Pixie can add thumbs up/down or smile/frown buttons in your reports to collect user satisfaction from your BI audience.
• BI Pixie can run Git pull and push of Power BI reports from multiple workspaces that are integrated with Git and can report Git folders as workspaces in the events

BI Pixie includes 6 components. The first two are not included in this app, but are available to download when you start the trial.

1. "bi-pixie.exe" - An automation that runs on an input folder with your Power BI project files, and instrument your reports.
2. A Power BI app that analyzes the usage and engagement levels of your Power BI audience. This app could not be packaged in this app, but you can install it separately to your Power BI tenant.
3. "BI Pixie Web Trigger" - A Power Automate cloud flow with a web trigger that tracks the engagement events in your Power BI reports.
4. "BI Pixie Web Trigger Inventory" - A Power Automate cloud flow with a web trigger that collects the inventory of the Power BI reports.
5. "BI Pixie Events" - A dataverse table that stores the events from the "BI Pixie Web Trigger" cloud flow.
6. "BI Pixie Inventory" - A dataverse table that stores the inventory of Power BI reports from the "BI Pixie Web Trigger Inventory" cloud flow.
7. "BI Pixie Inventory Visuals" - A dataverse table that stores all tracked visuals and their positions.
