This is an "If This, Then That" (ITTT) framework where you can establish business rules. These rules are effective immediately and can be modified at any time.
The Business Rule Manager for Dynamics 365 Finance is a low-code solution that provides control over the data entered in your Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment. It allows you to set up validation rules to maintain data integrity using an ITTT framework. For instance, you could establish a rule such as: if the customer is overseas, then the payment term is 30 days instead of 60 days. Typically, adding validation checks would require additional customizations in your Dynamics 365 Finance environment. This add-on eliminates the need for such customizations, saving you time as you can set up validation rules within minutes, bypassing a complete development cycle.
Utilizing the Business Rule Manager enhances the power of your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance environment. For example, you can create rules that prevent users from entering incorrect data, leaving a field blank, or clicking certain buttons. All rules can be conditionally set up to validate different scenarios per table. Despite the ability to set up tables, the tool has been designed to minimize performance penalties. Additionally, the add-on is agile: if your business changes and the rules need to be adjusted, you can simply modify the setup. Lastly, the tool is user-friendly.
