Learning Management System Connector in Microsoft Viva Learning

Our solution

The connector extracts the content from the integrated Learning Management System (LMS) using mechanisms based on the Rest API. On the first synchronisation, the complete course catalogue is imported into Microsoft Viva Learning. Subsequently, a scheduler updates the data between Microsoft Viva Learning and the LMS on a near real time basis, using the learning functionalities exposed by the Microsoft Graph API.

Challenges

With our component, you can import courses from a generic Learning Management System (LMS) into Microsoft Viva Learning and thus create a single point for corporate training. With synchronised functionality for course assignment and progress tracking, it will be easier to manage colleagues' training and understand how to improve the learning experience. Microsoft Viva Learning brings corporate training to Microsoft Teams, allowing all users to share useful content by sending a customised card in a chat or collaboration group.
