A natural follow-on question might be: "How impactful are these activities, and how do they apply toward meeting our organizational goals and objectives?" If you have wondered this, you are not alone; these questions are the pillars of workforce governance and accountability. But how do you measure? How to quantify?

Insight Daily captures and records system and user activity throughout the workday. From the time the PC boots, until it is shutdown, the Insight Daily client software records user, system, network, and application events. From this data, we create an objective mosaic of daily tasks and activities showing exactly how each employee spent their workday. Workforce activity patterns, both individually and corporately, can be visualized using built-in charting and analytics that show when user logs-in, when the user logs-out, when they are active and when they are inactive and how much time they spend working in a specific application or file. For users on mobile devices, you will know if they connect to unknown and untrusted networks, and for how long they stay connected. The Insight client can be configured to captures browser history and can optionally be configured to take on-demand or random screen shots of the users' PC.

Data is always secure, both at rest and in motion, and potentially sensitive data can optionally be stored in an on-premises NAS device. Additionally, we offer several subscription tiers including a cost-effective multi-tenant subscription, and several variants of single tenant subscriptions intended to meet high security or regulatory requirements.

Insight Daily supports the notion of "Timeboxes" Timeboxes accumulate associated user activity to specific tasks or projects. This provides a measure of the actual time spent completing a task or project against any estimates. The actual verses estimated comparison, can be used to improve and refine sizing estimations. Timeboxes can be associated with a single employee, or with a group of employees and Timeboxes can be associated with Agile concepts such as Epic, Stories, and tasks to provide objective sizing validations. Additionally, Timeboxes provide a useful metric for those organizations that may be required to give an accounting of actual work effort to be within contractual compliance.
