The ETA Wheels® P&D System is designed specifically to fit the needs of companies handling local P&D, LTL, Inter-facility Line Hauls, and Brokered moves. The ETA Wheels® P&D system was originally designed for a mid-size, multi-facility U.S.-based cartage company. Over the years the system has been enhanced and expanded to support the operation of companies handling LTL, Local P&D, Forwarding, and Transportation Brokerage.
The ETA Wheels® P&D system allows for the dispatch and management of individual orders or easily plans the consolidation and movement of freight at the cross-dock. Customer-definable Move Types allow the system to automatically determine what management boards to populate as well as the expected status flows of individual shipments. Optimization of delivery routes helps lower driver time and associated operating costs.
The ETA Wheels® P&D system supports complete automated notification to the customer of status changes to a shipment. The rate quote module allows for the generation of cost-plus, flat markup, or margin-based quoting. The rating engine supports both global and customer-specific rating profiles including accessorial charges.
As with all ETA Group software, integrated fax and email capabilities are standard.
