KSEF

The National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) is the central government platform for issuing and receiving e-invoices in Poland.

The essence of structured invoices is to issue them according to a single template based on a logical structure (XSD schema) established by the Ministry of Finance

and storing and processing invoices issued in this way in the centralized National e-Invoicing System.

The introduction of the KSeF is a challenge for taxpayers, among others in terms of adapting IT systems, sales, purchasing, payment, accounting processes, verification of contracts with contractors, methods of storing and delivering documents.

Main expected changes:

· methods of issuing and delivering invoices

· Changes in the issuance of correction notes

· attachments to invoices and pro forma invoices are outside the KSeF

· Document retention policy

· issuing and receiving corrections of documents

· elimination of duplicate invoices

· changes to transfers (KSeF number on transfers)
