DROPDOWN

In Power BI custom visuals, it is possible to create a dropdown menu for every individual cell within a table. This is especially useful when building interactive visuals where users can make selections directly in the visual itself, such as choosing parameters, filtering content, or configuring options on the fly. To enable this functionality, you must place the relevant column into a special data role field named "Dropdown". Independent Cell Selections: Each dropdown in the table operates independently, allowing users to select different options for each cell. This is more advanced than having a single dropdown filter or slicer, as it gives granular control at the cell level. Dynamic Content: The options for each dropdown can be either static (predefined in code) or dynamic (driven by data or external logic). You can also capture user selections and use them to trigger updates or calculations in the visual. Benefits: Enables high interactivity in table-based visuals.
