What can you expect from IdS SignatureManager?

Signature templates

Signature templates are easily managed with the following properties:

• Title
• Signature Template Type: Determine whether the template should be used as the default for new emails, replies, and/or forwarded emails.
• Is Active: Ability to set a template as inactive.
• Template: The actual content, including images with drag-and-drop functionality.
• Target Audience: The company or department that should have access to the signature template, continuously updated via IAM.

You can preview the signature by generating an eml file that can be opened in Outlook to see how the signature will look in practice.

Continuous update

IdS SignatureManager continuously updates signatures on SharePoint based on configured signature templates, target audiences, and user data. This ensures that your email signatures are always up-to-date and consistent.

Planning e-signature campaigns

With IdS SignatureManager, you can also plan and manage e-signature campaigns, giving your organization a unified and professional communication profile.

Outlook add-in support

An Outlook add-in is included, allowing you to use IdS SignatureManager across multiple platforms:

• Windows desktop clients (old and new)
• Web client
• Mobile clients for iPhone and Android
• Mac client

Auto-insert signature

The add-in automatically inserts the default signature for the mail type (new email, reply, forward) when composing a mail or appointment (except on mobile where appointment is not supported).

Auto-disable client signatures

If client signatures are enabled, the add-in automatically disables them when inserting a default signature.

Access levels

• User: Assigned signature templates.
• Manager: Manages signature templates for their departments.
• Administrator: Manages all signature templates.
