How to set a one-time reminder?
You can interact with me directly in the Chat tab of the app or tag me in the channel to create a reminder. Just use the format "[what]" [when] to set it up. For example:
- "Review project status" in 45 minutes
- "Meet with the client " on wednesday at 5pm
- “Submit expense report " by the end of the day today
- "John's Birthday" Aug 15
- "Plan team outing" by the end of the next month at 5pm
No need to worry about time zones! Reminders by Udyamo automatically adjust based on each user's timezone, so everything is set correctly without any extra hassle.
How to set recurring reminders?
Here are some ways to format [when] portion of a recurring reminder for yourself and a channel:
- "Check progress" every 2 days/weeks/months
- "Company Anniversary" every year on the 25th of April
- "Marketing strategy review" every month on the 2nd Friday at 9:00 AM
- "Team catch-up" every weekday at 6:00 PM
- "Client meeting prep" every other Friday at 5:00 PM
Use the "list" command to check out your reminders and take action! You can view them, edit, delete, mark as complete, pause, or resume. Plus, with "view", you can quickly jump back to the original conversation on the channel.
