IEM-Manufacturing and Service Integration

Integrates manufacturing and service modules in Industrial Equipment Manufacturing
Manufacturing and Service Integration (MFG) is part of the Industrial Equipment Manufacturing solution and an extension of Project Control Suite and Resource Management. (Industrial Equipment Manufacturing - Advanced)
Manufacturing Integration
Project-based manufacturers run their customer orders as a Project in STAEDEAN Industrial Equipment Manufacturing. The Project allows them to manage all activities related to a customer order from within the Project.
Resources as well as material can be planned from the Project Planning Lines, including the creation and tracking of production orders. Manufacturing Integration adds tools that increase users’ productivity even further by improving the visibility in production planning and workload. Its progress control feature helps users to monitor operations based on task lists per work center or machine center, and on quality checkpoints in the routing.
Service Integration
When a project is completed, usually, the work does not end. A warranty period starts and after that repair, maintenance and overhaul work. Industrial Equipment Manufacturing enables the hand-over from the Project to the installed base. In that way the service department is exactly aware of the as-installed or as-build product. The service object, with the linked service items, can be inserted in a service contract.
When the company is running repair, maintenance, or overhaul projects consumption on service orders can be posted to a Project. So, the service work can be truly handled as a project with contract prices and invoicing schedules.
With a maintenance plan you can link a service item to a resource type of machine or a work/machine center and schedule the maintenance on this equipment. Generate service orders for the actual work and when planned the availability of the equipment is blocked on the service dates.
