Basic Retail

Retail Module functionality enables usage of retail, while many customers don't have real retail but nevertheless occasionally offer their customers sale in retail style. Basic retail module provides the following features and benefits:

• Retail (unposted) invoice and credit memo. Other documents can’t be created from Retail documents.
• Usage of separate pages with minimum fields needed on pages.
• Retail invoice and credit memo is marked as Retail Document always when creating new document through Retail Module (additional check mark in Sales Header).
• Separate number series that are used for unposted and posted retail invoices and credit memos.
• Retail customer which is set in Retail Setup and automatically entered in new Retail Invoice/Credit Memo.
• Additional field Retail Customer on Customer Card.
• When default retail customer is chosen in retail document, and Sell-to fields are populated, this information is automatically transferred to Bill-to fields. If needed, other Company can be chosen on Retail Document.
• When posting Invoice/Credit Memo where customer is Retail Customer, additional Page with Payment Specification is opened. Default Payment Method is filled automatically from total amount on document.
• Sum of all payments must equal Document Total if Postponed Posting of Balance is not set on Retail Setup.
• Page contains field where amount of received cash is entered and the amount that has to be returned is calculated.
• Tax Refund can be prepared for Customer.
• Document can be copied without Application of original document.
• Price change on documents are posted with additional number series.
• Report with specification of payments for Date + Sales Person + cash register.
• Locations set as Retail must provide Price List with prices including VAT.
• Printing of Retail Invoice is adjusted to POS terminal printout with limited fields on printout.
