SMART Schedule Rename is a free app that allows to rename master data entries using a job queue. It allows to solve a lot of problems:

  • Run lengthy procedure in the background
  • Improve blocking issues by postponing the rename to non-working hours
  • Batch rename records
  • Handle elevated permission requirements that are often required during rename (e.g. requirement to modify ledger entries)
