Reservation Quota

This application will allow you to improve the management of commodity reserves, as well as improve the interaction between accumulative-warehouses and sale-warehouses.

Every company has encountered a situation where it is necessary to put aside goods for future sale. For example, you are running a promotion and plan to sell a certain amount of goods at a promotional price. When planning such a promotion, you want to be sure that the planned quantity of goods is in stock and will not be used for other purposes. Here the problem arises: how to put these goods aside.

This application solves this problem. The idea is this: a “Reservation Quota” document is created in the system, which reserves goods as a regular “Sales Order”. The “Reservation Quota” document cannot be shipped or posting. This document performs the localization of inventory. There is functionality that allows you to create Sales Orders from the “Reservation Quota” document. In this case, the reserve is transferred to the Sales Order from the “Reservation Quota” document.

Many companies have the problem of synchronization: the process of shipment from distribution warehouses, and the process of replenishment from storage warehouses. This application offers a simple way to solve this problem. The idea is to automatically redirect the reservation source from the sales warehouse to the accumulative warehouses.

When an automatic reservation of a Reservation Quota document is performed, a priority system is triggered to select the reservation source. This functionality has seven automatic reserve sources. Each source has a priority value. During the reservation process, this priority system can automatically replace: a sales warehouse with an accumulative warehouse.
