Our app offers setup options based on sales order locations, automatically marking sales order lines for drop shipment and pre-setting a drop shipment vendor (which can be changed later if necessary). Users can create one or more drop shipment purchase orders directly from a sales order with the flexibility to fill cost and other purchase information on a requisition worksheet either immediately or later on the purchase order. Real-time synchronization ensures accurate quantities and dates for both sales order lines and related drop shipment purchase lines. The app also offers an option to override Business Central's restriction against posting purchase invoices prior to the corresponding sales invoices, allowing you to better maintain vendor relationships.
