In today's ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats, emails continue to be the primary target for cybercriminals. Phishing attacks via email are the most frequent method used to steal account credentials.

Traditional antivirus and default email settings are no longer sufficient to protect your account information. By applying the appropriate controls, we can help you to evaluate if your email security framework is using industry best practices and streamlined security controls.

This engagement will evaluate the risks tied to email security gaps within Microsoft Exchange Online and deploy security controls to mitigate against the most common email-based vulnerabilities and attacks.

ProServeIT will conduct an audit of your Microsoft tenant against baseline security standards and identify the recommended security controls. With your agreement, ProServeIT will fortify your email platform by implementing the following:

• Harden Exchange Online Protection by configuring policies for anti-spam, outbound spam, anti-malware, anti-phishing and quarantine
• Configure or improve email spoof protection
• Disable email auto-forwarding to external domains and remove non-compliant rules
• Disable legacy authentication and set up rules for specific IP addresses/locations
• Enable and improve Microsoft 365 mailbox audit logging to capture additional audit information
• Configure email ransomware protection to block potential ransomware or malicious code
• Deploy the Report Message add-in for all users
• Deploy Microsoft Defender for Office 365 for safe links and attachments

Upon completion, you will have improved email security within your Microsoft tenant and gained protection again the most common email-based cyber-attacks.
