Data Governance assessment to scan the Microsoft 365 tenant and identify potential risks in the deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot
As a critical step in preparing for the deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot we leverage Microsoft Purview to scan the nominated structured and unstructured data sources, (which can optionally include non-Microsoft platforms), leveraging the out-of-the-box sensitivity information types. (Microsoft provide more than 300 information types that cover most industry standards however, if required, custom information types can also be developed to identify customer specific sensitive information). The scan identifies sensitive information in your environment that may present risk of unintended data leakage as part of a Copilot deployment. NTT also audit the Microsoft 365 tenant settings using the Microsoft 365 assessment template and use the results of these scans to identify information governance issues and risks and provides direction on how to overcome any issues and mitigate risks. The final deliverable includes a report detailing the current state assessment scan, high-level organisational requirements, and a prioritised roadmap to minimise risk during the deployment and usage of Microsoft 365 Copilot. This assessment is often used in tandem with the Copilot Readiness Assessment for a complete Copilot enablement plan.
