Skype for Business will be at the end of its product life cycle on October 14th, 2025. It will be replaced by Microsoft Teams. The analysis of the existing environment with a focus on a migration to teams is addressed.

Measurement criteria:

  1. Current overall architecture with the branch offices is known;
  2. Target overall architecture with the branch offices is defined;
  3. Logging of the SIP domains is known;
  4. client access and URLs are known;
  5. retention of pools and availability are known;
  6. hosting and federation (closed federation) are known;
  7. telephony and conferencing are known;
  8. Integration of the Exchange Server (UM, LYSS) is known;
  9. Export of policies and configurations is done;
  10. Prerequisites for hybrid configuration with Skype for Business Server are defined;
  11. Additional components such as call queues or auto attendants are defined;
  12. The peripheral devices such as analog telephones or door intercoms etc. are known;
  13. The assessment is carried out by Experts Inside from A-Z and shows the specialists on the customer side how the various sub-areas are related (know-how transfer);
  14. The evaluation and the proposed adjustments are summarized in an assessment report;
